The Passing of Barnett Eades

Barnett

Last Monday, June 25, our friend, Barnett Eades passed away in hospital at the age of 79. He contracted hospital pneumonia while he was being treated for an infection around his feeding tube. He fought hard, quietly and with great dignity and is now home with the L-rd. He and Molly were good friends of our shul and he will be missed. The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 10:30 am at the Zion Apostolic Church, which meets in Calvary Community Church (8704 Millwoods Road). I have just spoken to Molly and any of you who knew Barnett will remember his quiet courage and great faith. We knew him for over 20 years and his memory will be blessed. Any of you who want to dedicate a tree in his memory with the Jewish National Fund can call Devorah. If any of you are able to go to the funeral, I would like a picture of Barnett for our commemorative table.

It is never really sad when a believer goes home because we know that he is sleeping while he awaits to arrival of the Eternal Kingdom and the resurrection. We will meet again.

Shalom,

Rabbi Mike
