Passover Tickets: Sold out!

Published March 28, 2015 by Rabbi Mike in Rabbi's Posts

We have sold out all the available space for our 2015 community Seder on April 3rd and we are sorry that we cannot accommodate any more people.  The Scriptures do make a provision for people who are unable to attend the regular Seder for various reasons.  One month after the regular Seder, it is possible to hold a second Seder (Pesach Sheni) on the fourteenth of Iyar.  This is a full Passover liturgy, without the need to have unleavened bread, but still being able to celebrate our double freedom – from Egypt and from the Egypt of this world.  If there are interested people, the date for Pesach Sheni 2015 is Sunday, May 3rd.  We would be willing to host this in our home as a pot luck meal and we would have room for up to ten people and could set up a second table if there were more.  Please let the rabbi know if you would be interested in this scriptural provision as a Seder does take a lot of planning.  Thanks for your support.  Shalom, Rabbi Mike
