Programs at B’nai Chayim

We have several programs to meet the needs of our diverse congregation.

Shabbat School: Each week the children take part in Shabbat School activities, which include music, drama, Hebrew, and Bible study.

Prayer: Our prayer ministry is current and effective as we hold each other, the congregation, our loved ones, the country, and Israel up in prayer. A major part of the prayer ministry takes place over the e-mail list.

Dance:
Learn traditional Jewish dance steps! Dancing is open to both women and men.

Hebrew: Learn basic Hebrew reading comprehension on Sunday afternoons.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah:
A confirmation ceremony for males and females aged 13 and over. People with a Jewish background can publicly celebrate their Jewish roots, while non-Jews affirm their standing with the Messianic movement.

Worship: Are you an instrumentalist or singer? Come join our worship team and learn to play traditional Jewish folk songs, Messianic praise and worship, contemporary Christian worship songs, and traditional hymns. We are interested in male and female vocalists, piano/keyboard, bass, drums, guitar, flute . . . whatever you play, we’d love to hear it!

Singles: We have many single people in the congregation. They take part in many informal activities and events. We are working on developing a formal program for Singles — you can visit our Singles Ministry page for updates and information.
