B'nai Chayim: Singles E-mail List If you are single, attend a UMJC congregation, and would like to connect with other UMJC singles, there is now an official UMJC Singles e-mail list. It is co-moderated by B'nai Chayim's very own Singles Coordinator. To join, just click on the link below: Click to join umjc-singles Activities We have a number of singles in our congregation from a variety of different age groups. We're in the planning stages of activities involving singles from our congregation, and possibly from other congregations in Edmonton. If you would like to be involved, or have any ideas to share, please contact our Singles Coordinator.Tikkun Olam Tikkum Olam means "repairing the world. It is a Jewish value and concept. We have the opportunity to serve in ministry, not only in our congregation, but in other areas need in our community. This is a wonderful way to contribute to our community, meet other people, and work together for a common goal. Some of the issues affecting our local community include poverty, homelessness, and on a global scale, the environment, peace, and other aspects of human rights and social justice. An idea we had involved getting our singles together to work on a project in the city, whether it be serving up meals at a soup kitchen, building a house with Habitat For Humanity, or doing street ministry on some level.
