Last Day of Torah Kids Club

Published August 1, 2014 by Rabbi Mike in Rabbi's Posts

Shalom Everyone,

We have had a wonderful week exploring the festivals of the L-rd.  Today we will explore Sukkoth as we wrap things up.  We gave each child a Torah Kids Club t-shirt and they are enjoying working on their crafts, playing games and singing and snacking.  We are going to invite the parents to our annual congregational BBQ which will happen on Saturday, Aug. 9th and we hope to see some of them involved in our wonderful community.

Tomorrow is Black Sabbath – the Sabbath before Tisha B’Av, the date when both temples were destroyed.  We need to understand that even when our worlds fall apart, the purposes of G-d are never thwarted!

Please pray for our sessions today and no not forget to prayer for Israel and the leaders of the world at this time of crisis in Israel and Gaza.

Shalom,

Rabbi Mike
